Progress

Wednesday december 12th 2012

i was in the media room for around 3-4 hours working on my piece of the narrative the bar scene, as well as starting to look at which pieces from the multclips were the best lip syncing that i could use in the video
monday 17th and tuesday 18th december 2012
we were going to film extra bits for the music video but our actors went home sick so this could not be done so i started work on the digipak designs

wednesday 18th, thursday 19th and friday 20th december 2012
i spent the first three hours of both wednesday and thursday in the room editing and most of friday editing until fourth lesson. i worked on both the performance and the narrative to try and make the video look the most effective. i changed parts of ieshas narravtive edit to fit the rest of the video which i thought would make it look better i added a slow motion bit and split the long narrative chunk in to two sections seperated by perfomance footage. I added effects to help the video look more old and westerny to fit in with the genre. from tuesday i had no contact with iesha so i done majority of the editing for the video.

effects i used on the video to make it look more westerny/vintage

 slow motion part

then at the end when i was happy with the edit and got a bit of feedback from other students to see if there was anything major that didnt look right then i exported and uploaded it to youtube with a survey people could answer for me and when i got home i added it to social networking sites such as facebook and twitter, the only problem i had was when i exported it there was about three minutes of black at the end of the video as i didnt no how to sort this out and neither did the peolpe around me i left it and will change it when i get back after half term as well as anything that arises with the feedback
