talyor swift - love story


narrative video
presents a sequence of events, in a linear fashion love stories are the most common

this video is a love story being told as romeo and juliet


with the locations changing from presents day school back to some time in the 1900's where the costumers are big ball gowns and big puff shirts, where most of the video is filmed in a castle or in a field showing the love is not to be seen by others

 




 it beings with a shot reverse shot of the lovers meeting each others eyes (love at first sight) before changing to the olden times with close ups of clothings there is a point of view shot of 'juliet' running down the stairs to meet her Romeo













 editing is quick and chaging fats between the boy and girls faces showing the audience the reaction they have to each other, there is backing music which consitsts of drums and guitars as well as backing vocal with 'juliet' lip syncing to the lyrics majority of teh way through the video

    Very little content, the presentation could be improved, maybe in a prezi?
    The music video is 3mins 21 long, but from this it seems like alot of the video has not been analysed.

    You have three music video analysis' and all of them are presented in the same way, with a lack of content, you could use director's commentary, prezi or presentation websites.

    I would give this a mid level 2.
